  "I stayed at Sanctuary resort from 24th till 26th Jan'13. Location of the resort is good. It is approx. 3 km away from sawai-madhopur railway station and approx. 4-5 km away from ranthambore tiger reserve. I was lucky to get a double room for Rs 1600/- with B/F for 2 people through cleartrip hotel sa..."le offer. As far as the resort is concerned, the room was very spacious with a balcony, neat and clean. As it was very cold in January, I requested for a heater, which I was provided for an additional charge of Rs 75/- per day. Regarding food, our B/F served in our room on both the days was good. I had registered for my safari booking online by paying Rs 156/- for 2 people. In addition to this, we are supposed to pay approx. Rs 350/- per person (canter + guide charges) at the safari counter (2.5 km away from hotel) a couple of hours before the safari and collect our safari boarding pass. It's barely 5-6mins from the Sawai Madhopur station, go there if you want experience wildlife and enrich your knowledge about the same - the owner is an encyclopedia on wildlife. The..." staff is attentive and smiling, food is delicious - loved the open air dinner and bar set up every evening on the lawns. The safaris are organised by the forest department, though the resort doesnt really have any control on it, they deliver what they promise - we booked 3 safaris and had no trouble at all, added to which we had 2 tiger sightings! The walls of the place are covered with the owner's pics of wildlife, each one is a gem. If you are hooked onto 5 star trappings, then this isnt the place but if your idea of relaxing is with a book in the lovely library lounge of Ranthambore bagh, then go there.
