The manager was excellent----nothing too much trouble but some of the younge..."r staff members were quite lax---hard to find when you wanted them & often forgot things The manager organized a day trip to a Bishnoi Village. The room was small but clean. Getting there was not a problem .Got a tuk tuk from the station .Be prepared for a steep walk .It is a little bit out of the central area but this is compensated by a magnificent view of the fort. I spent many a happy hour on the roof top restaurant just gazing at the fort & the blue of the Jodhpur roofs. I noticed that one contributor mentioned that the blue came off from the walls & stained ones clothes.. Yes it does so one should be mindful of that. The food I thought was average.   "We were offered a room without AC for 400 wich we thought was a good deal. Location is good, 15 min walk to fort (uphill) and 5 min to clock tower. Family is nice and helpful. While our stay, we participated in a few activities such as village safari visiting some villages with full of characters and rich in traditional customs. We also spotted many wild animals and birds out there. And also we participated in a sundowner and barbeque dinner in nature. What a lovely and magical evening we had! The Tikka Masala chicken they cooked on the open charcoal was the best Tikka Masala which we have ever had.
