  "Whilst this hotel is far our from Noumea city centre, from what I saw, this is most likely the best hotel to stay at in Noumea. Whilst it is far from Noumea city centre, it is a great location, as it gives you to see as much of Noumea as possible if you are staying there for a short time. We walked ..."to Noumea city centre and at a slow walking pace it takes about 1 hour. Mind you we stopped and took photos, etc. It allowed us the opportunity to see as much as possible, bay de citrons, etc. It is located right on Anse Vata beach, which is a nice and clean beach. The pool area is literally located right on the beach and has a an awesome pool bar. Whilst the pool area is amazing, there is minimal lounge chairs. On our entire stay there we only had the opportunity to sit on the pool chairs once.It did not really bother us as we did lots of sightseeing, however, on the last day we wanted to relax by the pool and beach, so we got there early and we still did not manage to get a chair for 4 hou...   "We have just returned from 6nights staying at Le Meridien in Noumea on Anse Vata Bay & found the hotel to be very good. Overall the staff were friendly & helpful, we dined at all three venues & found them all excellent - Japanese rest.& the Hippocampe for my birthday dinner were excellent. We stay..."ed on the 5th floor R542 which had views out over the gardens/pool & the bay. There is a bus stop about a 5min walk away the No 10 local bus, which takes you to shops at Anse Vata (you can walk from hotel approx. 10-15mins) Bay of Citrons/Aquarium & on into the city centre. There is also a Hopon/hop off bus that runs to all tourist spots but does not operate on Pub.Hols (which were the 5dys we had there) but the local bus is clean & a/c. & safe. There are plenty of shops & rest. in Anse Vata. Overall a perfect holiday with hardly anyone staying at the hotel, we felt we had this paradise to ourselves!
