The room was spacious and caters well to all needs and expectations of a five-star hotel. The entertainment programme at the Horizon was enjoyable. The General Manager Mohammad Khaled was exceptionally kind and he even called me at the end of my stay to check if everything was up to my expectations. In my capacity as a Priority Club member, the lady in charge treated me as a member and she was willing to answer all my questions about my membership status. I do recommend the hotel to all people who have plans to visit the Dead Sea, and I would definitely stay at the hotel again and again. " More >

  "We were surprised by the hotel upon check in. We found security to be incredible difficult to get through but after that, the hotel it's self is beautiful. There is a fantastic view from the lobby. There are many hotels along the Dead Sea though this hotel is one of only a few that sits upon the bea..."ch by it's self. We found the pools to be inadequate as none of the pools were very deep though the infinity pool was gorgeous. The restaurants were over-priced as most resorts are. The taxi service claims to have set prices but I assure you they are incredible negotiable. Their set price to Petra was 189 Jordanian. We ended up paying 80 which we later found out was slightly high. They have a fantastic spa which is fully staffed so getting a booking is not difficult. The rooms are gorgeous. " More >

  "Shrak Restaurant is awesome! Dead Sea Holiday Inn is too!"
  "We stayed at the Dead Sea Holiday Inn for two nights at the beginning of April. This hotel is great! We had a sea view room which was huge and close both to the pool and to the ocean. The best part of our stay was the dinner we had at the new outdoor restaurant "Shrak." It serves Jordanian/Arabic ..."food and was fantastic. We had an assortment of appetizers followed by lamb and vegetables cooked Bedouin style. Wow is all I can say! The food was delicious and the staff at the restaurant couldn't have been more attentive and kind. I would highly recommend this hotel and restaurant. " More >
