  "Edensee Resort has a lovely position on the lake shore with views to the water from the individual bungalows, each of which have 4 suites. We had booked a family room which has two bedrooms as I was traveling with my mother and despite this we were allocated a one bedroom suite with a double bed. ..."Eventually we were moved to a family room and this second room was much closer to the main building where the restaurant is located. This was fortunate as my mother is 80 years old and has difficulty walking up/down steep slopes, of which there are plenty at Edensee Resort. There is also a golf buggy service here which you can call for transportation around the resort but it was convenient being able to walk the short distance involved from our suite. The breakfast was satisfactory and was a la carte as there did not seem to be sufficient guests for a buffet. If this hotel was air conditioned it would be absolutely perfect so you could shut out the noise at night and ge..."t a good night's sleep, something that alluded us in the 4 nights we stayed there. The staff were great, we arrived very early from Danag and they let us get into our room at 10.30am which was wonderful and when we bought some beautiful roses at the market they gave us a vase to put them in, they changed Aus$ for us and organised the airport bus for us, so yes the staff were very good. The breakfast buffet was excellent, we are quite addicted to Vietnamese coffee so we thoroughly enjoyed that every morning along with a host of local and western breakfast fare.   "We stayed at the Ngoc Lan Hotel in April 2013. The hotel has a good location overlooking the lake and is nearby to the night market and a number of restaurants. The hotel is quite bland and doesn't have a very personal feel, considering Lonely Planet call it a 'boutique style' hotel. And the air ..."conditioning was more of a fan/floor-standing air conditioning unit which kept the room cool but seemed noisier than other air-conditioning units in other hotels. However, the rooms are very spacious and clean with nice bathrooms and the staff were all very helpful. The most memorable feature of our stay was the day tour booked through the hotel, our guide, Hung, was absolutely fantastic and spoke English really well. If you aren't sure about travelling by motorbike then definitely consider using the hotels guide, we travelled round in a large, clean, air-conditioned minibus and were taken exactly where we wanted.
