  "You don't have to search for long to find out there aren't many hotels in Praia. And before my arrival I was a little sceptical of what to expect. However I delighted to see that everything was much better than I had expected. The check in process was very quick and efficient, with friendly staff ..."who spoke good English. The room was very big, with a good size bath room too. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the aircon worked fine too. The breakfast was relatively simple, as you'd expect, but very nice. The bar atmosphere was very friendly, I think a lot of the locals go here quite a lot. They have a large TV showing English football (and Formula One too!). We were also allowed a late check out until 6pm free of charge, and we were even a little bit late, eventually leaving at 6.20, with no problems. The only thing that lacks is a lift. Using the staircase to the third floor could be a bit much for older visitors.
