  "Ryad Salama, conveniently located between the two major 'streets' of the medina, was a great base for us, and a very quiet and peaceful retreat from the bustle of the medina. It's blue tiled courtyard garden and pool are meticulously kept, as are the restored rooms and common areas. Our room, Capp..."ucine, was a very generous size with a comfortable sofa, king sized bed, and large terrace which caught the morning sun. It was also extremely private. The large bathroom had a great shower, and it was very convenient having a toilet separate from the bathroom. Michel was a great host- helpful, friendly, and unobtrusive. Staff were very pleasant and efficient, though not a lot of English was spoken. The Continental breakfasts were fresh and tasty, with a different pastry (additional to the croissants and toast also served) to try every morning.
