I was thrilled with their mainland support system as well. I needed to stay a night in La Ceiba and I was met by a Turtle Bay liaison. They also have a reliable taxi driver with whom TB exclusively works and with whom I felt safe, a huge priority for me. Turtle Bay is an honest scuba resort. There are not a lot of bells and whistles that you might get at another resort on another island, but for me that was perfect. All of my emails were responded to in a timely fashion with good solid information... As for the resort the staff was First class all the way... its a no shirt no shoes no p..."roblem atmosphere... The diving was a truly unexpected treat... its the caribbean and i have seen nassau and belize and I was very happy to find myself discovering many species I had never seen... I would recomend this trip over maldives... especially the fact that its just 10 hrs from the states give or take... I have also dove Indonesia (raja ampat), Phillipines (negros), Hawaii Key West Key Largo... as well as Monterey Bay and Some other places here and there.... Of course diving is good everywhere but I have nothing bad to say about the Gem I found in Honduras!!! Look you get more than you pay for here and thats how I truly feel...
