We came to the resort to dive, and diving was absolutely incredible! The reefs were so beautiful, and most dive spots were only 5-10 minutes away from the resort. Efrain, our dive master, was incredible: very knowledgeable,very big on safety, and he seemed to know all dive spots like the multiplication table. He managed to find a weight belt and then a camera lost on prior dives!! And he spotted sharks, turtles, etc. when we couldn't even guess they would be there.   "My husband and I were at Blackbird Caye Resort on Turneffe Atoll from May 11-18, 2013. We cannot stop talking about what a wonderful experience it was. We have snorkeled in many places but have never had better snorkeling than at Turneffe Caye with Chris as our guide. We saw everything......starf..."ish, sand dollars, barracuda, turtles, octopus, shark, stingray, dolphins, lobster, squid, green moray, upside down jellyfish, and more fish than I could ever begin to name. The rooms were clean and the food was outstanding. We stayed in Cabana #9 and were very pleased. The meals are served at 7:00 a.m. / 1:00 p.m. / and 7:00 p.m. The breakfast and lunch is served buffet style and dinner is served to you at your table. At lunch you are given two choices for the evening meal or you can choose to have both. The food was excellent and always beautifully served by an excellent staff. The diving right off the island was great too, but the lighthouse reef was amazing! The staff was so friendly, the resort is beautiful and secluded, and the diving was incredible. Paul is unbelievably helpful, the dive masters are great, and the cabanas are very comfortable. We had a lot of fun and made some good friends down there.
