  "We wanted to get away from the phone/fax so a leisurely drive was in order. Take a right and then a left and stop at a lookout or two and before we know it... it was starting to get late when the Hannagan Meadow Lodge came into view. It gave us the retro feeling of the summer lodges our families ..."would go to every year. We stopped and friendly Wild Bill McClain the horse wrangler came out to see if he could help us. It has been years since we had such wonderful service. Clean, fresh, friendly and great rooms with NO tv or phone. There were fires crackling in stone fireplaces and cozy sitting areas everywhere. Yes...there was access to phone, tv, and wifi but nothing in my face invading the quiet. Outside the loudest sound was the whispering of the tall pines=) We loved it! Did I mention the delicious dinner and breakfast they served us complete with outstanding "ambiance"?   "We were pleasantly surprized, clean quiet room. We stayed in one of the kitchenettes. Extremely well stocked with everything you would need for cooking except the food. Great stove, microwave, even a regular size small refridgerator. We brought and cooked a lot of food. We had a great time. Satellit..."e TV was nice to have. There is no air conditioner, but i dont think any hotels around this area do have them. The temperature was cool enough that we really didnt need it. The shower pressure is awesome (big deal to us)! Oh, and bed was very clean and matress was very comfortable (not like a 5star hotel pillowtop, but honestly comfortable). We brought our own pillows. The value for your $$$ is more than fair. The main things we were looking for in this room were there: good stove, fridge, great bed and shower! At a perfect price. " More >
