  "We booked this hotel since we needed something close to Auvers-sur-Oise. The hotel is 5 minutes drive from Auvers-sur-Oise. We arrived by train at Pontoise and first thought that we would take a taxi to the hotel. Unfortunately it did not seem as if the taxis were working on that particular day. Since we did not know the area very well we were not sure where to go for supper. Our conversation then went onto Vincent van Gogh and Michel advised us that he knew the owner of Auberge Ravoux (the house and restaurant where Vincent lived).
