Also we liked the way Mr Aman Sood the manager interacts with all the guests personally making them feel at home. He suggested us places to visit and also arranged guides for us.The food is their restaurant is also very tasty. Must try their Lingdi pickle.   "We stayed for 2 nights in the Himalayan Village during the first week of May. The location is a bit outside Kasol and Jari, so you don't have to deal with any of the annoyances of crowds (such as pollution etc). The rooms are stunning. Each cottage is a work of art furnished beautifully. The u..."se of Pinewood in the cottage leaves a wonderful natural fragrance in the air. Behind the cottages are woods, so you wake up to birdsong in the morning and the only thing you hear through the day are birds. The service is excellent. The staff were very courteous and helpful. We did go on a nature walk which we enjoyed a great deal. The food is very very good. A bit on the expensive side (about 3 times what you pay for in Kasol) but if you are staying in this resort you need to be prepared for this. Those 2 days were extremely relaxing and recharged our batteries. Would I come back here? OF COURSE. As a final note: I have pretty much traveled the world and stayed in a variet... " More >

  "We went down in a group of 7 people, hired 4 cottages and had the most wonderful time at the Himalayan village. Kasol’s breathtaking natural beauty was further complimented by the service and attitude of the staff at the hotel. We were always greeted with a smile, all our strange requests were alway..."s met in some form or the other and a member of staff was at our doorstep within a minute of calling on them. They personally came to our room each afternoon to take our dinner orders and advise us on the food options. The bonfire barbeque was phenomenal, a beautiful set-up in one of our gardens with succulent meats and fresh crunchy veggies. All in all, compliments to the chef, kudos to the staff and praise for Mr.Aman, the owner who is always available and manages all the guest enquiries personally when applicable.
