  "We had a great week at this resort. It was my first time out of the US and we went to celebrate my boyfriends 50th birthday. There are definately pro's and con's but I am guessing that you will find that with every resort you visit. One think that was annoying is that their really is a lack of ..."chairs on the regular beach and an excess of them on the privelaged side (we were there off peak season so it may be different in the special section at other times). We were on vacation so getting up early to 'reserve' chairs was not on our priority list, so we got up when we wanted and found a chair of two for our group of four and enjoyed the pools. Usually after a late lunch around 2 pm we had no issues finding a spot on the beach with four chairs. Seems that with all the complaints we had read previously our group was prepared and worked around the issue but there is a lot of space in the sand to work on correcting the issue. We took part in quite a few activities and a special thanks to Sophia and Luis who were just wonderful people who treated you like family. All the waiters in the Barcelona every day were fabulous and the 2 guys who looked after us in the French restaurant were just brilliant as was the meal.   "This resort was a dream come true! My husband and I traveled to Mexico mid May for a 6 day stay. We were greeted by the staff with cool towels and champagne. Our room was magnificent. There were activites you could join throughout the day. It was a lot of fun. The entertainment staff were a lot of fun and so nice! We had the most wonderful time and it was SO relaxing. The restaurants were beauitfully decorated and the food was delicious The night time shows were very entertaining. Overall- the hotel was a 5 star classy hotel.
