  "Spent 8 nights in the Vasco de Gama and enjoyed the experience. We arrived on an early flight but had no problem checking in. We were initially shown a room on the fourth floor at the side . I asked for a change because it did not have the sea view that I had expected and paid more for and did smell..." a little of disuse. We were changed immediately to room 418 which was really a suite.It was impeccably clean.quiet and had a really comfortable king size bed.We stayed bed and breakfast. The food was on a par with any other continental hotel that I have stayed in.The hotel has a decent pool and a couple of tennis courts.There was no problem with getting sun loungers etc. Best of all is direct access to the magnificent beach.   "Friendly and relaxing"
  "We stayed in the Hotel Alba for 10 days 19th -29th May 2013. On arrival at the Hotel we were greeted by Fatima the receptionist, who was very warm, friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean plus the bed was very comfy. The maids came everyday to clean the room and changed the towels every 2 ..."days. We noticed they were always cheerful and we greeted them with a 'bon dia.' Breakfast as expected was basic, boiled eggs, bread, slices of ham, cheese, some fruit, yoghurt. But there are a lot of restaurants in Monte Gordo, so eating was never a problem. The pool area was very clean and although small there were always sunbeds, though it was still low season. Also the beach is on 3 mins from the hotel and lovely - white sands and very long. Great for morning walks. " More >
