The offering at Waipoua Lodge is quite unique due to the location and intimacy of the lodge, freindliness of Fran and Ian and the superb food. It is ..."an ideal place to stay for those who appreciate nice comfortable clean accommodation, freindly but not overbearing hosts and an ecxellent culinary experience. We have travelled quite extensively and eaten at Michelin starred restaurants and consider the quality of the food at Waipoua Lodge to be up at that level. They are wonderfully thoughtful and generous hosts, engaging our kids in making pasta and dessert, feeding the wee piggies and recommending perfect outings for the family..." close by.
