  "The Wineport is situated in a stunning location right on the waters edge. It is a proper "lodge" and does not feel like a hotel. The staff were all great and really made us feel at home. The lounge with its comfy sofas and fire, over looking the water, was perfect for a drink/coffee. We stayed in a ..."regular room but it had a balcony over-looking the lake and was very spacious. Nice touches like homemade biscuits and proper milk in the room. Dinner was fabulous - huge portions so be warned! Can recommend the tiger prawn starter. No delivery charge for room service breakfast which is unusual! Breakfast in the restaurant was a nice relaxed affair. Hot dishes served to the table - huge portions again! One thing I would note is that service is not exactly quick but that suited us and I guess food is cooked fresh to order. It is a not cheap but you get what you pay for.
