This converted farm is a true hidden gem, situated down a gravel track, at the end of a country lane, but ..."still only 15 minutes drive to Annecy, and only 10 minutes from the autoroute. If you like rural life, home made jams, freshly baked cakes, and home made yogurts, open spaces, walking, and beautiful countyside, and relaxation, then Domaine du Chainet with it's spa facilities is a true haven. You will need a car, and it is a bit tricky to find, however the location and accommodation are lovely. Our room was large, clean, with comfy beds, and good quality linen. Outside is a pool (which we didn't try in late September), surrounded by pretty gardens. When booking, you also receive an hour use of the spa facilities (a jacuzzi, sauna, and chill out zone) all were immaculate, and soft light... " More >
