Less than 5minutes walk to the town centre. Very well presented, refurbished hunting lodge. The room was large and airy and the beds are very ..."comfortable.   "We arrived fairly late in Obertsdorf are weren't to sure where to stay. Spoke with some locals who suggested the Fuggerhof. We had planned to stay only one night but ended up staying two. The rooms are nice (I would rate 3 stars) but our room had a nice balcony with a view. Their cuisine made the di..."fference and our waiter was very helpful. We ate here for 2 nights and everything we had was excellent. Fish, meats, salads, desserts, etc. Obertsdorf is a nice place to visit, must be really nice in winter also.   "We recently went to oberstdorf to celebrate my mothers birthday. Lovely place, big rooms, lovely possible a little too overbearing hosts, but ut seemed the servers had just started their apprenticeship.. Really strange.. One more point, the wifi in the rooms was really an issue, i.e lowest reception..." and the signal stopped randomly. For a five star, a no no. Recptionist seemed aware when i mentioned it, but not in a position to address it while we were there. Foods: check out the restaurants outside too, although it was quiet good. One of their black current ice cream creations was ootw. So enjoyment w a few drawbacks and definately a five star price! " More >
