  "Returned to visit Houlgate after 20 years, it hasn't changed much and that's a big plus ,retains that "je ne sais crois". We were lucky to have booked such a good hotel as this. OK no big reception check in or lounge, but the welcome could not have been warmer, can only agree with others room goo..."d size,beds and bathroom comfortable and clean. Dinner as good as it gets with the fresh locally sourced sea food, glad we booked a table for evening as they had to turn away any number of people, though two groups just sat in the garden and waited , again agree on the breakfast. Won't wait twenty years to next visit, would give Hostellerie Normand a minimum of a 4 Star rating based on the service, food and rooms.   "Stayed over on way to Channel Tunnel - Houlgate is a great little town and this hotel is a gem. Fantastic room all kitted out with nice view. Will defiantly return. The hotel is located perfectly in the centre of town. Parking out the front or on side streets."
