We weren't quite sure how to let anyone know we had arrived, the buzzer by the gate didn't work at all. We..." eventually did find our way in and were shown to our room (#5) which was so, so much cuter than the pictures could have portrayed. Our room had a nice sized bed. Loads of doors that could be opened to enjoy the breezes (just the shutters could be shut at night if we wanted to keep soaking up the breeze through the night.) A small, but useable kitchen with basic neccesities (though no oil, salt, pepper, but there is a very convenient supermarket just up the hill.) The bathroom was spacious. And our terrace was HUGE.   "Having been to Ravello some years ago I was looking forward to my return in May 2013 - I was not disappointed. Hotel Villa Fraulo was a wonderful place to be staying for nearly a week. Stunning views and location - easy access to the town square and the bus stop down on the main road. The hotel was ..."elegant, charming and extremely comfortable. The bedrooms spacious and well appointed. Attractively decorated and lots of marble in the bathroom adding to the feeling of luxury. The bed was very comfortable and, as mentioned in other reviews, well worth being on a higher floor both for the views and the private balocony. Wonderful start to the day to spet out and look out to sea and down the coast. Breakfast on the Terrace with those views - great. The dining room lovely - tables not too close together and the attention from the staff including Maurizio and Paolo excellent - discreet but attentive.   "We first visited Ravello in 2011 and experienced eating lunch in their restaurant which we thoroughly enjoyed. The service is wonderful and Mr Andrea Carrano Bonadies, the owner, often assists in the hospitality and service first hand. The pool are is just unbelievable...gorgeous view and amenities...."..on one occasion we attended a huge party up on the rooftop. Everything was perfect from the gorgeous flowing curtains floating on the structure that was atop us to the fabulous flower arrangements and finally the long tables filled with Italian delicacies...what a gorgeous location for a wedding or any other party you might wish to host in Ravello...Later we moved to Ravello for nearly a year and continued our visits to this fabulous and historical hotel!
