  "This was our first stay in an Italian Agriturismo and we really enjoyed it. Fonte Antica is a family business, the farmhouse has been in the same family since the 1700’s. The whole establishment is based in various parts of the well restored original farm house, over all 3 floors. You do need to use..." stairs to access the various parts of the house. There is a lovely relaxed atmosphere and is a great place to stay. The family is very welcoming and friendly. When we enquired about walking paths, Paulo sat with us and explained on a map where the best ones were and how to get to them. And he was right, we really enjoyed our walks. We had a large bedroom with bathroom, walk-in robe and views across the valley and front garden from the window. There is also a library, TV room, a lounge room with WiFi and good quality pool table on a mezzanine floor. The owners are very open, warm and extremely helpful with their excellent advice about the area, where to go and what to do. The food in-house is very good and there are also many excellent restaurnats in the area if you have the energy to go out after a day in the mountains. The area is great for walking, cycling (road and off-road), horse riding, paragliding and many other pursuits. In spring the flowers are stunning, and in summer it's much cooler than the beach.
