Dinner was almost finished, but that was no problem, we were given time to freshen up and then served an excellent dinner. Our room was on the first floor overlooking the swimming pool and garden. The rooms on the first floor have larger balconies than on other floors, but all rooms facing the pool have a balcony. The staff are fantastic, especially Florin. Everyone was polite and helpful. Lots of information available from reception on where to go and what to see. They also sell train tickets which is a bonus as the ticket office at the train station is not open all day and the automatic machines are a little unreliable. The staff have been nothing but attentive and a special shout out has to go to the restaurant girl who works breakfast and evening dinner, our fantastic cleaner and the night staff, all of whom went out of their way at some point to help us out. Rooms are best described as quaint but definitely fully functional. The only thing that I was missing was a waste paper bin in the room (though there was a bin in the bathroom, so it wasn't a problem!). WiFi is in the lounge only as others have noted but it is fast and stable and only a minor inconvenience to keep bobbing down every time you need to use it for checking ... " More >
