  "Just come back from 10 fabulous days at the Aviotel on Elba. Highly recommend both the Island and this residence for your holiday. Very clean, well equipped and spacious apartment with lovely swimming pool on doorstep and all that you need if you want to just relax; restaurant, bar/cafe and supermar..."ket a few steps away...truly special. Also, nothing was too much trouble for the very welcoming staff. The proximity to the airport is really no problem...it's not Heathrow! Only a couple of small flights a day (not jets planes) and interesting to watch as well! Very good value for money. Davvero speciale. Pulito, spazioso, ben fornito e con bar, ristorante e supermarket a due passi. Veramente comodo. Tutto il personale di una gentilezza e disponibilta' davvero apprezzabile. La piscina e' fuori dalla porta e la spiaggia a poco piu' di 2km di distanza (a noi e' piaciuto di piu'il Procchio che Marina di Campo).   "We really enjoyed our time at this residence in the charming town of Marina di Campo. The apartment had everything we needed..kitchen, Internet access and heating, and just steps from a long sandy beach. Since we went in January it felt as if we had much of Elba to ourselves. Granted, a winter beac..."h vacation is not for everyone...no swimming and sunbathing.. but we thoroughly enjoyed it. We rode our bikes along the special path along the waterfront and took some beautiful hikes. Best of all the residence is family owned and they made us feel right at home. We hope to be back soon !   "My wife, infant son and I stayed at Hotel Select. We found the hotel to be excellent on a number of levels. First, it has a stellar location on the bay, and it is steps from the beach. Second, and most importantly, service at hotel was outstanding, both vis-a-vis our room and also at the restaurant...." Third, the cuisine for dinner was exceptional, with an excellent choice of fine local and Italian dishes. We read in prior reviews that persons was concerned about the hotel being dated in its contruction, however we found that the hotel was well maintained and that the hotel management seemed to take pride in the good presentation and organization of the premises.
