The couple's local knowledge was also fantastic and the suggestions of places to visit and eat in were amazing. The room itself, Anchor, was a twin room charmingly decorated in a mauve colourway with nautical accessories. The shower room was spacious and well fitted and everything was spotlessly clean. One of the issues we did suffer from was noise in the late evening/early hours of the morning. There was a room located above us on the second floor of this Victorian/Edwardian building and the occupants were very stompy indeed. When we got there we asked if there was any chance of an upgrade and we had already been upgraded to a Seaview with 4 poster and jacuzzi bath so we were ver..."y happy. Parking out front for £1 for overnight parking till 11am then renew. Room 124 was spotless and very new with lovely furnishings, including the wine and chocs that we got with our package. There was more than enough room for our luggage and things and bathroom was huge!! TV was at end of bed but picture was very grainy but we didn't use it that much and didn't inform staff until we left so not an issue. Had food in bar and was very tasty. Beef roll with salad and crisps and another with chicken, bacon and coleslaw..lovely. Didn't use pool so can't comment but seemed nice and warm. Would have been nice to have a safe in the room.
