  "We were made very welcome at the Jason Hotel. We came at the start of the season the hotel had just opened that week for the 2013 season. This hotel has a 2 * rating but it could easily have been a 3*. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Jason and Mariella ( the owners) were always on h..."and to give helpful advise. It works on a B & B basis and there is no restaurant for evening meals but on the evening of the big thunder storm, when we could not get out to dine, the staff were able to rustle up a snack for us, They are all very helpful with advise on local attractions, restaurants, car hire and general information. Say hello to George the night porter who can tell you a yarn or two.There is a lovely pool with lovely views of the mountains. The one thing to be aware of is because this hotel is out of the centre of Ipsos about 500 metres up hill the last 50 metres is a very steep drive up the hotel drive. This is a good hotel for families as mentioned on the most recent reviews so no need to list them. We paid extra for a sea view room which was superb, it was lovely to wake up in the morning wi..."th such a beautiful view. Watching the cruise ships coming and going was also a highlight of my 2 year old sons holiday. All the staff in the hotel were very friendly and the Thomson team were superb, (handy Andy, Ben and Tash to name a few). There were a few minor things that I think the hotel could improve on, the surrounding grounds which I believe may be the old golf course could be maintained enough so there would be other areas for guests to explore, however I wouldn't recommend the current gardener as it took him a week to cut the two small lawns between the pools, on the plus side my little boy was delighted to see the ride on mower everyday.
