  "Vrisi was the third stop of our holiday in Crete. We stayed at Vrisi for7 nights. Our booking was for a one bedroom apartment. However, the previous occupants of this room had decided to stay an extra few nights and so we were accommodated for our first night in a 1 bed studio and then moved for the..." remainder of our stay. The apartment was of a good size, very clean and comfortable. The setting is excellent with nicely tended and lush gardens with a small swimming pool in the middle. The shower was a simple shower tray with hand held shower and no curtain and so the bathroom was more of a wet room - but that was not really a problem. Vrisi is within a few minutes walk of Pitsidia centre and just off the main road (main in Pitsidia terms does not have much traffic) and so is very quiet. I would be very happy to stay here again.   "This was our 2nd stay at Kalia Beach as we loved it so much last year, and I'm pleased to say it did not let us down. On arrival late at night we were greeted with a warm welcome and shown to our room by Yannis who insisted on carrying both our cases! Thank You Yannis Rooms: The rooms as stated by..." others are basic but cleaned daily by lovely friendly staff. I don't understand the complaints on here re-insects etc we never had any problems and there is a certificate in reception from a pest control company stating that the hotel had been inspected recently. It's a hot country, there are going to be some insects, after all we get flies, spiders etc in our own homes in the U.K. A couple did complain about their room when we were at reception one day and they were instantly moved to another with no fuss at all, not sure what the problem was but it was dealt with courteously and swiftly.
