  "It's a nice place, with friendly Staff, a very cost quality\cost ratio with a good decoration in an old building. The location is far from the Center so it is quite but does require having a car if intended to stay here."

  "Stayed here for one night. We were very impressed with the welcome when we arrived. We were shown round this luxury hotel, converted from a working hospital some years ago. The building itself is very impressive, with beautiful furnishings. Our bedroom was huge, with high ceilings, and beautiful..." bed linen. The bed itself was very comfy, and large. Our one criticism is that the bedroom was huge, but the bathroom was small, with a shower in the bath, as opposed to a walk in shower. Breakfast was good, everything was needed was supplied. The pousada is in a great area, we didn't have dinner there, but walked into a quaint square where there are numerous local type restaurants. We didn't choose well though, and in hindsight, we should have had dinner in the pousada. We will hopefully return! " More >

  "This is an unusual hotel, located in the historic part of Viseu in an old house which has been renovated and filled with antiques. The staff were most helpful and our room very comfortable. We had a bit of trouble actually finding the hotel due to one way systems and then trying to find a parking ..."place, but suceeded in the end with help from hotel staff. Breakfast was Portuguese style, cheeses, cake, etc but very pleasant. There are several good restaurants nearby and staff are willing to advise. " More >
