  "What a delightful find this was for us. These little self-catering cottages located in the Nordeste Region on Sao Miguel, Azores were just what we were looking for. Set in a small village in this rural end of the island, they are quiet, peaceful and very comfortable. The owner, Antonio, is very h..."elpful and even had the refrigerator stocked with some goodies for us like cheese and ham, milk, yogurt, orange juice and bread. There is a new, fast road from Ponto Delgada that makes it very easy to get to and there are signs to point the way when the road ends. Antonio also sat with us and went over the map and made recommendations of places to go and gave us a great overview and introduction to the Island. With the new road, it makes it very easy to get to different parts of the island rather quickly. You could easily stay here and see the whole island...we did.
