  "We have just returned from a lovely stay at Hotel Catullo. This is a typical, charming, Italian hotel and exceptionally clean. We had booked a room facing the square and was delighted to find that we had been given a lake facing room on arrival. We were only B&B as we prefer to go somwhere different to eat every evening and we were not disappointed with the lovely restaurants we found. Sirmione is a beautiful destination and very convenient if you wish to combine a stay in Verona, as we did. The ferry boats are efficient and we would recommend visits to Salo, Garda and Bordelino. You can do a lovely 45 min walk between Garda & Bordelino. We did the return walk but if you only want to do one way then buy a ticket to one destination and then another for the return journey in the other destination. ... " More >

We can highly recommend the hotel as a base for seeing Lake Garda. From our balcony we had spectacular lake and mountain views. The lake is breathtakingly beautiful and the perfect location for a holiday. The ferry trips were a pleasant and relaxing way to see the Garda towns and enjoy a spot of lunch and a drink of wine.
