  "My husband and I recently stayed in Veramar in a studio apartment for 11 nights, and though the hotel is - as other reviews have mentioned - somewhat 'tired' and a tad dated in some regards, it's spotlessly clean, the staff are friendly and helpful as well as constantly courteous, which we've found ..."isn't always the case in Spain. We were also swiftly and with no fuss given another room when a family who were fond of playing the same 70s CD over and over - at one point at 4am - moved in next door. The pool area is comfortable and clean and the beach is a very short and unchallenging stroll away, as are all the shops, bars etc., that you could want or need. If I had any suggestions for the management, one would be to provide some kind of pack in the rooms that details what facilities are available, such as how to order takeaway from the bar downstairs, and how to access wifi. It might also be helpful to point out to guests where toilets etc., are within the complex and around t... " More >

  "Just returned from a week in a studio apartment here, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. O.K yes the place is a bit tired, but as said before, it's clean and the staff are friendly and attentive. The pool area maybe could do with another couple of sunbeds but the area available isn't massive, so..." you couldn't fit many more in. A large beer from the bar pool was €2.50 sandwiches €3.50 ish Daniel and Cari made us more than welcome they work very hard, but always with a smile. I agree about the bakery over the road, fantastic as is Wang Wangs open all hours. Another place worth visiting, is Asador Los Pacos 11. This is a pizza and kebab restaurant on the left hand side about a 100 mtrs up the road where you'll find an extensive menu, good food and great prices,run by Raol and his pals.you can tell by the amount of deliveries they do that they are popular with the locals.   "just got back from a week in a studio apartment,it was great! a bit tired and in need of up dating but very clean and staff helpful and friendly,pool was ok and was just a short walk to beach,bars and restaurants,had a fantastic meal at shaafis indian restaurant,in main eating area in fuengirola,als..."o the beefeater ,superb steak!! but the best place we went to was a bar on the beach front called bohemia ,owned by a lovely polish guy called Jacob,his hospiltality was outstanding,beer,cocktails and food excellent,we paid many visits here during our stay and will definitely go back some day,so all in all a fantastic week!!!!!!!!!
