First, there is the drive. You will climb to a remote corner of the Luberon, passing through a mid-size village (..."Apt) to a small village (Saignon) to a much smaller village (Sivergues) before you abandon the paved road altogether and head up into the mountains on a dirt road. At the end of this dirt road you will encounter a magical place: an old stone farmhouse sitting on a hillside that drops away with views of much of the Luberon. If you get there early you will have time to admire this view in the shade of large old trees, and eventually you will be joined by a herd of goats that scamper out of the nearby forest to share the shade with you. They provided everything we needed and gave excellent advice on places to visit in the area. They even put up with me practicing my bad French.   "Had a wonderful experience at Les Mazets. Two rooms are located in a guesthouse separate from the hosts' house, they are large and decorated simply but with style. Surprising to find hotel-quality bedding in such a homely environment, so that was a plus. I am particular about bathrooms and their cle..."anliness, and Les Mazets were amazing in that regard. The modern and even slighly futuristic design was awesome. Everything was spotless. The hosts was extremely friendly and served a delicious breakfast in their kitchen. We had trouble finding the place originally as it seems to be in a new heighbourhood and GPS was having trouble, but host picked us up in the village immediately. Definitely recommend this place!
