Couldnt fault anything about the hotel... we stayed in a room that had patio doors onto the rear garden overlooking the decking and the river. The breakfast set us up for the day (a choice of cooked varieties as well as cereal and yoghurts) and we even got a lift into town whenever we needed by the owners - such a lovely gesture. There is a gym and sauna if need be, free wi-fi. All in all a perfect 4 day break for exploring Ennis and the surrounding areas. So if your looking for a break to take in all the pleasures of this idilic Irish setting you wont be disapointed - our only wish was that we had longer to stay but after our break there we will return soon.   "Clare Manor B & B is a little way out of the town centre (about 15 minutes walking) and is easy to find on the main entry road. You will have a friendly welcome from the owners and shown to you room and made aware how everything works. The rooms are not oversized but more than adequate. Everything..." very clean, comfortable and well presented. The en-suite shower is the electrical power shower type that does its job OK without being fantastic. It was raining very heavily during the evening of my stay so a walk into town was out of the question but a pub is across the road and a hotel next door to it that sold good pub grub at a reasonable cost. Breakfast is all freshly cooked and more than adequate to start the day. Probably not the best B & B in Ireland but certainly very high up on the list so it comes recommended. Places to visit include the Ennis Friary and the Knappogue castle but my personal favourite was Dysert O’Dea area. Plenty of interesting history and great walking ab... " More >

The only complaints i have is that i was refused entry to the bar downstairs in the hotel as i am only nineteen and the bar was over twenty-ones, i was very unhappy with this considering that i was staying in their hotel.
