The swimming pool was in the process of being repaired, not that it was warm enough to take a dip!   "It's great value for money! In fact we paid close to £20 per night for a room that would have been great value at triple the price. Very friendly & helpful staff, a well appointed and clean room, a TV & kettle - what more do you need? It's part of a motorway services area but the services bit closes..." at night so there was no disturbance. A few quick tips - if you fancy a pint (or two) a taxi to the centre of Swansea costs around £15. Take your own pillows - to supplement the one you get there. Also you can get free wifi in the services area so there's no real need to pay for it. If you order anything at Costa Coffee take your room key with you & you'll get a discount. Location wise this Travelodge is right by J47 of the M4 so great for access to the Gower Peninsula and all those lovely beaches. The proposition for breakfast was a little odd - some kind of box affair - we popped down to a massive Tescos for ours - about 2 miles away (just off the main road into Swansea). Overall though, ...
