  "We have been coming here for over 5 years and have never been disappointed. The weather has at times been problematic but most people come here to go on the lake so get wet anyway! One must get a boating permit before going on the lake. Also a fishing permit if going fishing. The warden visits twice..." daily and they are very keen. Having said that it is still value for money. We have just returned from a beautiful bank holiday weekend. The sun shone and everyone was happy. The owners have put in extra drainage to ensure the camping area is drier. The showers are basic but fulfil the need, there is no heating but the blocks are not unduly cold. There are ample toilets and toilet paper. The grass is mowed regularly and the owners are very particular about dog fouling and late night noisy campers. Ideal for families and couples alike, There is a good play area, which unfortunately is next to the entrance so parents need to supervise their children at all times. I would recommend this site... • The Perfect Romantic Retreat in Snowdonia!

  "This cottage was everything and more, Character,charm, setting , every possible thing to make your stay comfortable was on hand. even a lovely bottle of wine to welcome us. The bed was huge and so cosy. Unfortunately we had to duck a few times when going to the bathroom, certainly something to remem..."ber!!! We were so fortunate to have beautiful weather and could use the decking to sit and relax, read, drink and listen to the birds, watch the lambs and just enjoy the fabulous valley. It lives up to its name as the most beautiful valley in Wales. At night we stood in awe outside looking at the night sky and the millions of stars and shooting stars, not to be missed!! We were also lucky to meet the owners , What a helpful lovely couple, nothing too much trouble.   "I booked two nights at this site (Sat & Sun) We arrived a little late, not a problem we were booked in and allocated a pitch without any huffs or puffs by friendly & helpful staff. This is a very clean tidy & quiet site with spectacular views. The shower/toilet blocks are very clean & well kept, a l..."ittle moan is that the lights work on a movement sensor which switch off if you are in the shower. The site is so good we stayed for a further two nights. There are fantastic walks from the site, a river which would be nice to sit on the banks during the summer! There is a steam engine railway line near to the site, we only saw the train once during our stay. It is near to most of the attractions of Snowdonia park, we found it a good base camp!
