  "Just spent 3 days in Ironbridge and was recommended to stay at The Malthouse, when I arrived I was met by very helpfully and very friendly staff, who showed me to my room, I staying the Blue room, with real wood floors and a great veiw over the river, I decided to eat in the resturant that night and..." that was also a great choice. Great food, massive portions at a very reasonable price, got chatting to a few of the local drinkers at the bar and had a great laugh with them, my 2nd and 3rd night was just as good. With its funky interior design both in the resturant and the rooms, and its friendly staff, I would definately recommend The Malthouse the place to stay whilst around Ironbrigde, they'll definately be seeing me again!   "We stayed at the Golden Ball during the bank holiday weekend, it had only been under new management for two weeks and it was absolutely amazing. The locals that use it were very welcoming and the atmosphere was great. We had an evening meal, overnight stay and breakfast then as the weather was reall..."y sunny we had a walk into Ironbridge and then returned to the pub for late lunch. There was a good crowd of us and we sat in the courtyard enjoying cold drinks and again amazing food. Nothing was too much trouble for the new owners and they couldn't do enough to accomodate us. We really didn't want to leave! Although we live about half an hour away we will definately be making a habit of returning!! " More >
