The guest house is located to the west of the main train station and city centre - approximately 20 minute walk. 2 minute walk to Devonport railway station which has services to Plymouth, Gunnislake and most of Cornwall. There is also a few bus services nearby (with one bus stop right outside the front door). Local area is pleasant and quiet.   "Very friendly welcome which lifted my spirits after a 6 hour drive in wind and rain. Room 12, refurbished and very clean with the added benefit of a jacuzzi bath, fluffy towels and dressing gown. Tea and coffee in room crisp white sheets. Floor slanted but this is an old building. Breakfast was lov..."ely and cooked fresh to order. We had a meeting in the separate suit in the basement, all facilities, a bit cold but helped to keep me awake during the meeting. All in all a pleasant experience for me. Some of my colleagues were in the attic rooms and said they were very small and needed updating but I am guessing the rooms are being refurbished a few at a time. Great location. " More >
