Third, our basement-level, non-smoking, room was fine with more amenities than the basic budget hotels -- fridge, microwave, coffee pot, hairdryer, couch, coffee table, desk with chairs, large-screen TV, DVD player, comfortable bed with nice linens. The only negative was that the window looked out on the parking lot, but we kept the shades drawn. Fourth, the free breakfast was surprisingly good. The hotel was quiet at night so no problems at all. The restaurant was being renovated to open near the end of May but we did recieve a 10% discount ..."at Mr. Mikes restaurant with our room key (less than a five minute drive away) which was very nice. The hot tub/sauna was closed due to mechanical issues, but we were told that will be repaired and ready to use before June. The room rate was better than most hotels in this city, especially for a clean, quiet, and nice hotel. " More >
