  "We just stayed at The Lodges. We got the property through RCI and our unit in the Wolf Lodge, unit 108 was really nice. The place was clean , well appointed, and comfortable for all of us (6). We had a balcony with chairs and a BBQ grill. There was a nice fireplace, the kitchen was well appointed,..." washer and dryer, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It was very clean and nicely decorated, really cozy. The living room had a pull-out couch but the couch was really springy and not very comfortable to sleep in. There were towels, linens, toiletries, dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, coffee and other little things that make you feel at home. The property has pool and a hot tub but i didn't use it, my husband did. Property was well maintained and clean. There is wifi access but it was spotty at times. But overall good.   "We recently stayed here for three nights while visiting the Banff area. We spent the first two nights in a Cougar Chalet. It was nice and clean and fine for a family. The third night we had to move to a Bear Den. It was also fine but it was extremely noisy with the kids above us running around non-s..."top. We felt the Cougar Chalet was a little nicer with the window coverings since it is light out until very late. The train was also not a problem. I thought it would be louder than it was but it did not wake me up during the night. This isn't a 5 star resort but it is definitely a good price for a family and decent accommodations. The biggest complaint we had was that the sofabed was not comfortable at all so beware if you plan to use it. " More >

  "My wife and I needed a weekend away while we listed our house, so we headed off to the Rockies. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express near Canmore. We had a room with a kind bed and "spa" which translates into a very nice, oversized bathroom with marble shower and jetted tub. The room was on the s..."econd floor, but had a very nice view, though there was a bit of noise from the #1 highway if we left the window open. The only issue we had was a bit of an odor in the room. Not sure what caused it, but it smelled a bit like someone had received a perm. There was plenty of parking and the price was very reasonable. We had breakfast in the restaurant on the main floor, but can't say it was worth the price. We would definitely stay there again, though our meals would definitely be had across the highway in Canmore or in nearby Banff. " More >
