  "We visited Old entrance as a family group. We greatly enjoyed the rustic and remote feel of this river side site. We also appreciated the no nonsense hospitality if you needed advice you just had to ask other than this you were left alone to enjoy the environment. We stayed in the white cabin it ..."was perfect for our needs clean warm and roomy. We even slept with the curtains open as the night sky was quite something. We did a wonderful 3 hour horse trek a first for me again there was none of the softly softly approach, it was a great experience in real Alberta country, off the beaten tourist trail with real people.! The internet was slow but it meant skyping home while sitting on the lawn listening to the river and wolf howl.! In one day we did a drive and saw a black bear, mountain goat, elk, deer, squirrel all within a short drive of this great place. All in all a dam good stay, would i return you bet.! " More >

  "Was taking a Mountain Bike Instructor course at the bike park in Hinton. The host recommended this hotel as they supported the bike park. Got a suite as I was sharing the room with a friend who was also on the course. Room was nice but the furniture was a bit dated (didn't care). The nice featur..."e was that the loft room had its own bath & shower. This worked great for us as we each had our own private bath & shower and also didn't have to listen to him snore. Included breakfast was good with lots of hot foods. Great restaurant next door (Milo's) where we ate dinner each night. Wireless internet had good speed. Will use this hotel for future trips.   "Great Value, Close to Jasper"
  "We were visiting Jasper for May Long weekend and the hotels in Jasper were booked up or did not have a pool so we decided to stay in Hinton and try out the Holiday Inn. We got a rate on Hotwire and checked in. We had booked a 2 Queen room and when we got there Hotwire and reserved a 2 double roo..."m so I mention this and Barbra at the front desk said no problem and found us a 2 Queen that was reasonable distance from the pool and upstairs so it was quieter! Thanks Barbra! Our room was a decent size and the beds were comfortable. The washroom was quite small, but typical for the room type and hotel type. Everything was very clean and updated. We ordered room service for dinner and the attendant was happy and friendly and our order came very quickly. The fool was great I though. A little expensive, but that's room service for ya! The gravy was excellent and we enjoyed our meal (2 steak sandwiches and a grilled cheese for our 1 year old). The pool area is great! We went down an... " More >
