The towels are still the typical small and thin towels that you find in most inexpensive hotels. The sound proofing seems quite good, as I stayed in the same hallway as the 14 year old boys we had brought with us, and yet it was quite quiet in my room, and the air conditioning/heating had a fan that ran continuously, rather than stopping and starting throughout the night, which is great, as it created white noise for sleeping and didn't wake me up with the loud clickin...
