The Rooms are appointed as if you found yourself in Colonial Uruguay perhaps in the 19th Century, with some minor Changes such as, for Example, Free Internet. It is located far from the action of Punta del Este, but that is part of the charm, and beauty of really ge..."tting away from the crowds! The hotel is exquisite and done with incredible attention to detail. The rooms are well designed and each suite has a gorgeous view of the countryside. The spa has the latest equipment, bikes are available to ride around the property. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and ordered eggs and pancakes which were made to order. We were so happy to stay at the hotel that we asked them to let us have room service dinner in the fireplace room off the lobby. They were totally accommodating and did a fabulous job.
