  "This was our first trip to Rancho Leonero but we've spent over 14 years staying at other properties in the area so we have some experience. The Ranch probably provides the best combination of somewhat rustic East Cape location with facilities that I know my wife would love. I went with my fishing ..."buddy and will return in July with a group of six of us who have been coming down for years. The rooms were comfortable, large and nicely furnished. The grounds were open, airy and scenic. The food was good. The staff was excellent all around. The owner, John and General Manager, Gary were always around and ready to chat about fishing or life. Their concern always seemed to focus on whether we were enjoying ourselves. I don't have to talk about the fishing as we're in the East Cape and it's just plain good.
