We loved all of the views, the fact there is always a breeze, and it's a great location It was the perfect house for our vacation on Staniel Cay. It is very clean and clearly well looked after. The temperature outside was in ..."the 80s , and we never turned the AC on, because the ceiling fans in every room were so effective. The kitchen is beautiful and very well equipped, including a dishwasher! The living room is bright and airy with sliding glass doors, and windows all around. Internet and Sat TV were easy to use (not that we had time for that). The two bedrooms and two baths worked out well for our group which consisted of two couples, each with private decks and gorgeous views. The location is great in that it is quiet yet everything is still close. Barry was very helpful, and another big bonus is the golf cart that comes with the house.   "We loved our stay at SCYC. It is a perfect, low key escape from the real world. The cottages are small but cute and have great views. The food is very good and you get a lot of it! We loved having the use of a boat every day to explore the deserted cays and sand bars. We will definitely return!"

  "When I stayed here ( Mother's day wkd) the staff were coping with a new computer system for everything and it made for agonizingly slow check outs even for those who had done the all inexclusive, and there were more than a few disgruntled bar customers who were not happy with their bills and insiste..."d on it being re-checked. One bunch of guys protested and their bill went from over $400 to a little over $100, one particular night I was a little miffed as the over worked bartender Carl tried to keep up with drink orders and a lousy system while the owners stood there... and well just stood there looking quite handsome and seemingly useless. I asked one of the girls why the guy who installed the system didnt teach it to the staff and she explained he used up all his time working out the quirks and bugs and so that opportunity was lost. BUT the staff are tremendously hard working, sunny and delightfully helpful with the few exceptions in the dining room. And the internet was free and... " More >
