  "Just returned from Hotel Riu in the Bahamas. The hotel room was nice and clean. My room was on the 15th floor and had a view of the ocean. So it was nice to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean and wake up to the sun rising over it. The only issue is that you can only access this floor using a ..."single elevator. This could make for a long wait to go up and come down during busy times of day. I was travelling on my own and found the staff to very friendly and helpful with all requests. I never felt unsafe at any time. The food was ok. I was dissapointed to not see more of the local food on hand for selection. I found the nightly entertainment to be lack lustre at best. I know it's not a resort but I am sure they can do better. The beach was beautiful and was groomed each morning. It's too bad people don't think more about keeping it clean throughout the day especially when garbage bins are available. There were vendors on the beach but they did not harass you for business...   "This is a nice property with access to the Atlantis and is cheaper than staying at the Atlantis. It is not a full suite even though it's called Comfort Suites and has additional charges but so does the Atlantis. The Atlantis is wonderful, especially for children and has lovely beaches in addition ..."to beautiful pools, waterslides, waterfalls, gardens, caves with magnificent aquariums and so forth. The reason I say watch out is because of the scams waiting the unsuspecting traveler who takes the ferry to Nassau. You are offered $100.00 and a free lunch to attend a sales talk. During that sales talk you are promised the best deals you can imagine but when it comes time to sign the contract you are told to sign a paper that states that only the contract matters and the sales promises don't. They tell you you can have heavily discounted vacations anywhere in the world at their properties but the contract results in the total amount that you pay each year being more than if you hadn't signe...
