  "We were only at the hotel for a week, should have stayed for 2. Everything here runs like clockwork, the staff are excellent and polite and most have been there for a long time. All meals from Breakfast to Evening meal are excellent with a reasonable daily choice. The beach is a 2 minute walk away ..."on the flat but be warned there is little shade and no sunbeds or brollies but the beach is fabulous. Entertainment at the hotel is only on for 3 nights but that gives you more time to chat with other guests. We were in room No.1 which is away from the pool area, it's quiet everywhere. You will need to catch a bus or taxi to find evening entertainment but it's no too far away. Would we go again........YES! " More >

It’s a corner room wit..."h views from both sides, to the ocean and one side ocean and Bridgetown. Formerly the Grand Barbados, the hotel got recently acquired by the Radisson chain. It has been refurbished and looks like almost at the last stages of renovations. The room decoration is modern and functional with earthly colors. Mostly everything is new. Bathroom is small but OK with two sinks. There is a safe, big enough for our 15” laptop and more. There is also an iron & board, coffee maker, IPOD base; soon to come a mini bar, and balcony. Flat screen TV and coffee maker with staples are also included. Cable service is limited in channels. The rate includes full breakfast and Wi-Fi, which worked perfect... " More >

  "We stayed at the Island Inn the first week in June and can honestly say I have nothing negative to report whatsoever, the hotel is lovely, very tranquil and in a great location, staff were friendly and accomodating and always had a smile on their faces. I noticed there had been some rather poor revi..."ews regarding the food but we couldn't fault it, nice choice everyday and excellent service too. The rooms are very nice, huge bed and very comfortable, they were kept very clean so what more can you ask! I would recommend a poolside superior room as this gives you a lovely view of the pool and a lovely outlook when sitting on your patio. It is true that there is not a lot of shade by the pool but this is not easy for the hotel to achieve as there is not a huge space surrounding the pool, it is still possible to find some shade though. If you are looking for a quite relaxing holiday and just want to chill for a week or two then this is definately the place, we loved it. " More >
