  "First of all, Lavasa is a dead place. There is *NOTHING* to do or see at Lavasa. The only attraction, if it may be called so, is a water body (can't really call it a lake) and a promenade on one side of this body. Waterfront Shaw is right on this promenade. People are very courteous and helpful. The..." rooms are good, clean and well furnished. I would have liked the bedroom to be a little larger. The sofa in the living room doubles up as a bed - but the whole thing is not one unit - it has a detachable piece with a mattress on top. As a result, one piece tends to move away from the other as you turn in your sleep and becomes a problem. The restaurants are nice however the portion sizes are a bit too small for one person (except in the Chinese restaurant). The hotel offers free wi-fi with decent speed - we could watch a movie on YouTube. They also offer bicycles with no rental charges. Try to get a room that faces the promenade - we didn't know this and got a room with no view whatsoever a... " More >

  "We had stayed in 1BHK for 3 nights. The stay was most comfortable and happy one. The room has fridge, microwave, induction gas, hair dryer, iron, locker. Everything one would need if required. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Service is excellent. The Waterfront Shaw has good restaurants atta..."ched to it with variety of cuisine on offer. All the staff, Managers in restaurants as well as the resort are courteous and prompt. Breakfast had variety and was fulfilling. We had taken the room facing the promenade and the view from there was breathtaking in the rains. Resorts have cycles for the guests to be used and it was wonderful cycling on the promenade along the resort. There is water musical shows on the waterfront in the evening and they are a sight worth a watch. All in all a very good experience at The Waterfront Shaw. " More >
