In the morning, the breakfast buffet in the dining room was delicious and plentiful. It was nice to be able to get an early shuttle and start an early hike without any hassle. Even after checking out at 11 am, we were able to keep the car in the parking lot and continue to enjoy the park without driving. The convenience of staying in the park definitely offsets the cost for a splurge of one or two nights. It's relaxing and stress free. Much nicer to drink a glass of wine on your balcony instead of driving in traffic to find your next bland, ordinary motel room! " More >

We tended to eat breakfast in the cabin, and lunch and dinner in one of the parks. We also ate at the restaurant at ZMR one night which was really nice. It was great having the flexibility to cook if we wanted to. We also enjoyed the buffalo herd and got some wonderful close-up pictures through the split-rail fence.
