There's a fabulous lake nearby for sailing and pedalos and kayaks, there's riding, cycling and walking available. Lots of tennis courts and all at very low cost. There are village markets and lovely painters studios, vineyards to visit too. There are museums and lots of other attractions. It's a 30 minute drive from the coast - the lovely Corniche D'Or. Or visit Cannes or Nice, all less than an hour away. The food is fabulous - there is a restaurant with a Michelin Star a 10 minute walk away from the Residence and lots of other places to eat around the villages. There was nothing to fault in the breakfast spread. The eggs are hatched on premise, and cooked to your preference. The homemade jam, fresh fruit, cheese, ham, pastries and cake just kept coming... I think we spent 2 hours eating our first breakfast. And REALLY good coffee... The garden and poolside provide many intimate spots where you can get quiet, private time, and still come together for communal moments. I have paid three times more for multi-starred hotels which don't even come close in comfort and care. I will definitely return. I just hope these rave reviews won't mean they are fully booked forever... " More >
