  "Would have gladly walked up a hill twice as steep to get to this hotel. Once here, I felt figuratively miles away from the frontline (as another reviewer so aptly put it) of Kata Beach. The lush vegetation and abundant sounds of running water and chirping insects certainly contributed to this effect...". Large, sliding tinted glass windows and doors assured privacy and the full benefit of the garden view.
