  "This is a brand new Camp Lodge on the banks of the Chobe River on the Namibian side, only about 5 kms from the Caprivi/Botswana border at Ngoma. We stayed here for one night in October 2012 in the very spacious and beautifully furnished tented chalets with wide panoramic views of the Chobe River ..."that is right on your front balcony! We saw plenty of game as far as the eye could see from our front chalet deck as well as from the Lodge deck! During the night some lions came to drink in the river near us and hyenas called with their familiar hair rasing chants! The food was great with a three cause meal on the deck in the Main Lodge open plan dining room with the African stars beconning. Electricity is supplied by means of a generator that runs twice daily for some strategic periods. The management was friendly and although we did not book (as we were only told about this gem a few days prior), we were accommodated with friendlines and courtacy and received the best attention.   "We stayed at Kalizo Lodge at the beginning of April 2013. As the roads were flooded, we were picked up by boat from another lodge nearby. As the camp site was also under water, we were upgraded to a spacious family chalet. The hospitality was great with Tony provided us with excellent home cooked me..."als and lekker chats next to the camp fire. One morning we were spoiled with freshly baked croissants before a fishing trip. We would love to return to catch that big tiger fish and to spot Shelly's Sunbird.   "I stayed both at the lodge (twice) and the campsite (once) on my way to Victoria Falls in Zambia. Just a perfect stop-over place for the night. Clean, neat and near nature, right on the banks of the Zambezi River. Believe it or not, there were signs posted by the side walk "Beware of crocodiles!" me..."aning: stay away at the safe distance. Yet these rarely come up the banks. Lodge is surrounded by beautiful trees and greenery and a sight of a peaceful river passing by compliments your glass of wine on a quiet evening under the skies.
